A Head Constable Ministerial primarily works in the office environment rather than on the field. The main duties include handling official documents, maintaining police records, drafting letters and reports, managing files and registers, assisting senior officers in day-to-day administrative work, and data entry work on computers. Work Environment
Unlike regular police constables, the HCM does not perform patrol or street duties. The posting is mostly in police stations, district offices, police headquarters, or other administrative units of Delhi Police. The work is desk-based and follows fixed office hours, making it a preferred choice for many candidates.
Career Growth
After joining as Head Constable Ministerial, an employee can get promoted to Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Ministerial, then to Sub-Inspector (SI) Ministerial, and further up the administrative ladder based on experience, seniority, and departmental exams. Selection Process
2. Typing Test

3. Physical Test (PE&MT)
