New Registration: Visit the official website: opportunities.rbi.org.in. Click on the link "Recruitment for the Post of Assistant – 2026". Select 'Click here for New Registration' and enter your basic details (Name, Mobile Number, and Email). A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated. Basic & Educational Details: Login and fill in your personal details, category, and educational qualifications (Bachelor's degree marks, University, etc.). Select the State/Office you are applying for (ensure you are proficient in the local language of that state). Document Uploads: Upload your Scanned Signature, Left Thumb Impression, and a Handwritten Declaration. New Step: This year requires a Live Photo Capture through your webcam or phone camera in addition to a scanned photo. Preview: Check all entries carefully. Verify that the uploaded images are clear and correctly placed. No changes are allowed after the final submission. Fee Payment: Pay the application fee online via Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. General/OBC/EWS: ₹450 + 18% GST. SC/ST/PwBD/EXS: ₹50 + 18% GST. Final Submission: After payment, submit the form and download/print the Application Receipt for future reference. |

Important Instructions Live Photo Capture: Ensure you are in a well-lit area with a plain background. Do not wear caps, masks, or tinted glasses during the live photo session. Handwritten Declaration: You must write the following text on white paper with black ink and scan it: "I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required." Document Specifications: Scanned Photo: 20KB–50KB (JPEG). Signature: 10KB–20KB (Black ink only). Thumb Impression: 20KB–50KB (Black or Blue ink). Declaration: 50KB–100KB. Eligibility Check: You must be between 20–28 years old (as of Feb 1, 2026) and hold a Graduation degree with at least 50% marks (Pass class for SC/ST/PwBD). Final Year Students: If your final result is not declared by the application closing date (March 8, 2026), you are not eligible to apply. Local Language: Since there is a mandatory Language Proficiency Test (LPT) after the Mains exam, only apply for the state whose local language you can read, write, and speak fluently. |
