Job Profile & Responsibilities

आबकारी सिपाही उत्तर प्रदेश आबकारी विभाग में वर्दीधारी फील्ड अधिकारी होता है। यह पद कार्यालय आबकारी आयुक्त, प्रयागराज के अंतर्गत आता है। इस पद पर चयनित अभ्यर्थी का मुख्य कार्य अवैध शराब व मादक पदार्थों की तस्करी रोकना होता है। लाइसेंसी शराब दुकानों की नियमित निगरानी करना और आबकारी छापों में वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों का सहयोग करना भी इसी पद की जिम्मेदारी है। इसके अलावा उत्पाद शुल्क से जुड़े सरकारी नियमों का पालन सुनिश्चित करना, अवैध मदिरा निर्माण स्थलों की पहचान करना और संयुक्त प्रांत आबकारी अधिनियम 1910 के तहत कार्यवाही करना भी इस पद के दायित्वों में शामिल है। यह एक फील्ड बेस्ड सरकारी नौकरी है जिसमें वर्दी पहनकर ड्यूटी करनी होती है। नौकरी स्थायी व अस्थायी दोनों प्रकार की है और इसमें पदोन्नति के अवसर भी उपलब्ध है।
